Description
I was invited to deliver a talk on “Hybrid Working and Employee Wellbeing” to the Chief Scientific Advisory Network (UK Government). The session examined the implications of hybrid working arrangements for employee mental health, organisational culture and productivity.
Drawing on empirical research in occupational health psychology and workplace wellbeing, I outlined evidence-based approaches for managing hybrid workforces effectively. The presentation highlighted the importance of leadership practices, role clarity, communication structures and inclusive organisational policies in supporting employees with differing work patterns and locations.
My contribution supported knowledge exchange between academic research and UK Government policy advisers, informing discussions on how to embed evidence-informed strategies to enhance wellbeing and sustainable performance in hybrid working contexts.
