An interdisciplinary discussion about how data science can contribute to the study of fake news, brought to you by the New Methods for New Media network. This event celebrates the publication of Data Science for Fake News: Surveys and Perspectives (Springer, 2021) by bringing together three QUB academics with very different approaches to the subject:the book’s Co-editor, Dr Deepak Padmanabhan (EEECS)

contributor, Dr Jane Lugea (AEL)
Drawing on their different disciplinary backgrounds, they will discuss how different disciplines can work together for better understanding and approaching the phenomena of fake news.
