Description
This is the 3rd time in a row that I have been invited to present my research on improvisation, and to perform in concerts as part of the EU funded METRIC Consortium. The first took place in 2016 in Tallinn, the second in The Hague in 2017, and the event in 2018 will take place at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, in Glasgow.The event is part of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Project "Modernizing European Higher Music Education through Improvisation (METRIC)”. The project is coordinated by the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Tallinn and includes partner from The Hague, the Guildhall in London, the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, The Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse in Paris, as well as the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the University of Gothenburg. METRIC has over 13 EU partner overall.
