Invited Talk on the work of Tactility Factory at Derby Silk Mill, Museum of Making.

This talk took place within the Silk Mill Conversations: 'About Materials', ‘and was part of the Re:Imagine programme for the Derby Silk Mill– Museum of Making redevelopment project - a £16.4m project that aims to sustainably redevelop Derby Silk Mill (site of the world’s first factory in 1721) to create an inspiratonal new museum of making. The Silk Mill Conversation event took the form of an informal panel with 4-5 speakers and a public chaired discussion to gain insights and share experiences with people we think are doing amazing things – helping inform the concepts for co-making the Museum of Making!
my involvement also formed part of a wider framework of associate makers, innovators, artsts, designers, researchers and subject specialists who will help to inform and extend the skills of the Silk Mill project team in delivering the co-design phase of the programme.
