Co-organised and spoke at the iRISE/Language Centre Mid-Autumn Festival celebration at Queen’s (3 October 2025), welcoming 50+ attendees from across the University and community. As iRISE Co-Chair, I opened the event with remarks that framed the celebration as a practical way to strengthen inclusion and intercultural understanding, supporting students and staff, particularly international colleagues, to connect through shared cultural experience and language practice, even amid severe weather-related disruption.
