Speaker/Panel Discussion/Screening of my documentary 'We Carried Your Secrets'
In March, the Irish Peace Centres (IPC) consortium organised an International Conference, with over 150 participants, to officially launch the Irish Peace Centres project. IPC seeks to cultivate and sustain positive relationships at a local level across the region and across traditional sectarian and new social divides.The conference, entitled 'Prejudice & Pride' explored the role of prejudice and its impact on peace-building in Northern Ireland as well as in other regions affected by conflict. The event gathered a wide range of speakers from across Ireland as well as some international speakers who gave an overview of peace-building efforts and challenges in other parts of the world. International speakers included former combatants.
