Island Studies Journal (Journal)

Activity: Publication peer-review and editorial work typesEditorial activity

I served on the editorial board of this interdisciplinary journal as the co-editor for literature for six years. The role involved overseeing all literary submissions, judging whether they were of sufficient quality to be referred to external readers (and in some cases desk-rejecting), identifying and liaising with specialist readers, communicating with authors and the editorial board more generally, and inputting into discussions around journal policy generally. The role required a broad-based overview of the literary field generally, across periods and language areas.
