Description

I was one of four organisers for the annual UK IVR Conference. The IVR was founded in Berlin on 1 October 1909 and has since then blossomed into a genuinely global association, with many active national sections. The purpose of the Association is the cultivation and promotion of legal and social philosophy. The Association is open to all relevant scholarly disciplines. This was the first time that the UK IVR branch's conference was hosted on the island of Ireland. The theme was: ‘Public/Private: Unlocking the Boundaries of Legal Thought’.The three keynote speakers were:Professor Saskia Sassen (Columbia University), Professor Maeve Cooke (University College Dublin, and )Professor George Letsas (University College London).

I also spoke at the event.
