Atomic data for tungsten is highly important for operating tokamaks with tungsten wall. The purpose of the meeting is to evaluate effective rate coefficients for tungsten in plasma; effective rate coefficients for ionization, recombination and radiative power loss. Participants are expected to compare available theoretical and experimental data for all tungsten ions and produce an evaluated data set.
