Invitation to join Journal of Marketing Management Editorial Board
The Journal of Marketing Management (JMM), published by Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group, is the official Journal of the Academy of Marketing and is a double-blind peer-reviewed periodical with a global reputation for publishing path-breaking and original contributions. https://www.tandfonline.com/journals/rjmm20
All contributions to the Journal are expected to be intellectually rigorous, well embedded in the relevant literatures, yet understandable to our wide audience.
Submitted papers are passed to the Journal Editor, who will desk review them and decide whether they are suitable submissions to the Journal. At this stage, authors will either receive a desk reject letter from the Editor or their paper will be passed to an Associate Editor expert in the subject area. The Associate Editor will then send the paper to three reviewers whose interests and expertise lie within a relevant field. All papers are double-blind reviewed.
JMM receives over 1,000 submissions per annum. The current acceptance rate for all original (non-SI) papers which have received a final decision in the review process in the last five years to end 2024 is 6%. 82% of papers are desk rejected. All reviewing is conducted electronically and we seek a turnaround of approximately four weeks.
We would be grateful if you could confirm to us at your earliest convenience, and by 7 February, whether or not you would like to accept this invitation.
If we do not hear from you by 7 February 2025, we will take this as a confirmation that you do not wish to join the JMM Editorial Board.
