Description

As a member of the Interagency Childcare and Legal Issues Working Group I organise two seminars a year for approximately 120 social workers, solicitors, barristers and members of the judiciary. Seminars are focused on topical issues in contemporary child welfare at the interface of legal and social work practice. Each seminar includes input from an invited panel of speakers with legal, social work and service user expertise. The May 2019 seminar focused on the challenges and opportunities associated with kinship foster care.
