Description
This conference was a meeting of the Migration, Identity and Translation network based between Warwick University and Monash University.Conference attendees were investigating the diversity of language practices and their consequences in different social spaces, including educational systems, professional environments, health, and the law.
We were also addressing complex migration discourses in relation to language and linguistic interaction.
The conference was followed by a public summit focusing on the relationship between language, translation, social mobility and social cohesion.
