Launch of 'Caring for our World'

As a Positive Futures Board Member and Trustee, Amanda co-organised and hosted the launch of 'Caring for our World', a new resource co-developed by Positive Futures and Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, which is aimed at assisting people with complex needs to understand and take action on environmental issues.

The resource was officially launched by DAERA Minister Andrew Muir, whose department funded the new climate‑awareness resource. Other speakers included Agnes Lunny (CEO of Positive Futures) and Prof. John Barry.

Speaking at the event, Minister Muir said "I’m delighted my Department has supported the development of ‘Caring For Our World’ - Northern Ireland’s first dedicated resource designed to make climate education accessible and inclusive for those with additional learning requirements. Inclusion is not an add on – it is essential from the very start."
