Description

It was well attended by the policy makers. They mentioned that it activated their willingness to adjust this inequality. They highlighted the importance of this event in changing the direction towards facilitating the recruitment of more females in leadership positions.

The workshop was held in the International Press Centre, Baku. Project completed and results disseminated on 6th July 2017. The impact of this activity was:

- Extensive media coverage broadened the dissemination of this Public Engagement Event. The media in Azerbaijan has disseminated my speech on TV (Khazar TV main Channel) and through 7 news agencies and newspapers. I appeared on Khazar TV talking about the importance of recognising the importance of the leadership of females in Education.
- The event was well attended by more than 40 educational researchers and policy makers including senior representatives from the Ministry of Education and the British Council staff in Baku.
