Description
I was a founder member of Neonatal Nurse Researchers (N3R). It was set up by Bliss and managed through the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit. I took over as Chair in 2007. Our remit was to support neonatal nurses and allied health professionals interested in research. We supported several through their PhDs. In 2013 we joined with the Neonatal Nurses association's special interest group on Education. It was chaired by Julia Petty and Julia and I co-chaired the new organisation (LEARN) until 2021, when we handed it over to Katie Gallagher. I am now working with a local neonatal nurse, Colm Darby< to set up a local branch - LEARN MI. We hhad the first meeting in January 2022
