Description
I delivered invited sessions on “Managing Stress at Work During and Beyond COVID-19” for the University of Nottingham Leadership and Management Academy in 2020.
The sessions provided managers with evidence-based guidance on identifying, managing and preventing work-related stress during a period of significant organisational disruption. Drawing on occupational health psychology research, I outlined key psychosocial risk factors associated with remote working, uncertainty and workload pressures, alongside practical strategies to support team resilience and sustainable performance.
This contribution supported leadership capability development at a critical time, informing institutional approaches to staff wellbeing and promoting preventative, research-informed stress management practices across the University.
