Description

The overarching aim of this post-qualifying accredited Masters Module in PPI is to develop an advanced understanding of user involvement as a pre-requisite to contextualising the importance and implementation of Personal and Public Involvement (PPI) initiatives in the candidate’s workplace. As such, the course is aimed at those candidates who either have a strategic and lead responsibility for PPI in health and social care settings or may have such a role in future.
The course delivery involves contributions from academics, experts by experience/citizen trainers and visiting speakers from key organisations. The module is assessed through an assignment and is underpinned by a strong user involvement ethos. The course is delivered as a ‘stand-alone’ ‘M’ Level Module and accredited as such on completion by the university.
