Description

This was a first Maymester course, organised by myself and Catherine Monaghan, School of Nursing and Midwifery, QUB, for a multi-disciplinary group of Belmont University faculty members and students, visiting Queen's for the first time. This was an important beginning to developing student and staff exchange and interaction as part of the Queen's/Belmont University partnership developed in June 2017 under the auspices of the North America Strategy Group. We organised a series of high profile presentations and community vists themed on public health, social policy and social work issues as well as cultural tours and music events. The event was very positively received and evaluated by the students and faculty participating.
