Description
The EFEM award program was successfully launched for the first time in Oct 2024 after long discussions to create a strategy for it. As a member of the Award Committee (4 members), I contributed to the launch of a new Award Committee to create the eligibility criteria of the awards, the regulations on how to assess the applications and manage the awards for a travel grant to present the work in anatomical meetings or for a scientific mission of a PhD student or young researcher in EfEM-related area. The European Federation of Experimental Morphology (EFEM) was pleased to announce the launch of its annual grant award competition in Oct 2024. We invite applicants on EFEM website to apply for monetary grants to support their participation in scientific meetings or to perform research activities such as training at a different institution.
The Award Committee is responsible for supporting the participation in scientific meetings and/or to perform research activities such as training at a different institution. EFEM will award one grant per year in each category. Grants will amount to 700 € for travel to scientific meetings and 1000 € for research/training activities.
