The purpose of the Health and Science Committee is to provide the BDA’s Principal Executive Committee, staff and members with expert advice on scientific matters relating to oral health and to the interplay of oral health and general health. These include issues surrounding oral health promotion, the science of dental materials, new developments from the dental research community, the control of infection within the dental operating area and oral disease processes.
