Elected in July 2018 to be a Member of the Career Development Committee (CDC) of the AACA (leadership in the most popular Anatomical International Association).

I provided the following services to the wider subject community within this professional body through my leadership role in CDC:

- Judging of the presentation awards, organising symposium at the Annual Scientific Meetings.
- Judging posters and e-posters in 2020 and 2021
- Tasked with hosting the Mentorship Reception, on June 29, 2021, supported the professional growth of clinical anatomists by suggesting ideas on how to develop the quality of anatomical research and the scholarly educational activities.
- Organised a Workshop “How do we deliver anatomy education during the novel Covid learning environment”, 18th June 2020. Participants were distributed among 9 breakdown virtual rooms. I was responsible of facilitating this workshop in two of these virtual rooms
- Hosting Mentorship Reception, my role included designing an Online Application Form and contacting mentors and mentee. This reception gave tremendous support and advice for junior staff and also acted as a mentor for a number of mentees.
- Selected the theme of the Symposium “Imposter Syndrome", June 2019 and selected the guest speakers. This symposium helped colleagues to be aware on how to address this issue and on how to build up self-confidence
- Contributed to selecting the topic for the Career Development Breakfast Meeting. The talk was "How to build up an impressive teaching portofolio". This educational session aimed to give advice to junior colleagues

CDC monthly Meetings were held by Zoom (2018-2021). The CDC is formed of six members and is regarded as one of the most important Committees of AACA.

These activities support career growth of Anatomists and the advancement of Educators' knowledge around the globe.
