Northern Ireland Executive agreed in the Stormont House Agreement (2014) to establish a comprehensive Mental Health Trauma Service designed to provide access to high quality services for those who have been traumatised by the “Troubles” and other forms of psychological trauma. I have been invited as an acknowledged expert who has played a key role in developing previous landmark trauma services, in establishing an evidence base for psychological treatments, and in providing relevant training programmes for HSC staff to join the Partnership Board of the new trauma service
