Description

Co-led the School of Nursing and Midwifery's Movember campaign in 2016. This year's activities were a combined fundraising approach between CCRCB and the School of Nursing and Midwifery.

A range of activities were organised within the outside of the school including a steps challenge, photo shoots, social posting, information sessions, and bake sales.

This outreach campaign throughout November 2016 was used as an opportunity to highlight many health and social care issues relating directly to men, as well as raising the profile of male professionals who play a pivotal role in healthcare, nursing, and midwifery. This outreach campaign was associated with key Athena SWAN priorities for Silver Award.

The School raised over £500 and all processed went to the Movember Men’s Health Awareness Fund.
