My presentation, Reflexivity and the "permission to narrate", refers to the work of Palestinian American scholar and founder of postcolonial studies, Professor Edward Said, to explain the importance of reflexivity to centre marginalised voices in scientific study. To demonstrate, I use examples from my PhD thesis that denote researcher reflexivity in practice.
