I became a member of NCRI Breast Clinical Studies Group in 2013. This group is a key part of the UK breast cancer clinical research infrastructure, comprised of oncologists, trial methodologists, pathologists and surgeons, and is responsible for the development and strategic oversight of clinical and translational research nationally. Through the group over this period I have contributed to the development of many clinical trials in breast cancer, as well as broadening my national and international network and developing research collaborations across the UK. I remained a member until becoming Chair of the renamed Breast Research Group in early 2021.
