Description

I am the Chair of the NCRI Breast Research Group. This is a highly influential position in UK breast cancer research. The group is a key part of the UK breast cancer clinical research infrastructure, responsible for the development and strategic oversight of clinical and translational research nationally. Under my leadership an international strategic review of the current clinical trial portfolio is planned, to shape the landscape of UK breast cancer clinical research over the next decade. My goals are to develop studies which address the personalisation of loco-regional breast cancer treatments, to adapt treatment strategies to individual levels of risk, and to increase the international cooperation in these key areas of breast cancer clinical research.
