Description

The National Platform “Dialogue on Peace and Secure Reintegration” was launched in February 2018. It serves as a non-partisan and inclusive platform to discuss the Donbas peace process and secure reintegration. The National Platform aims at strengthening Ukraine’s resilience and consensus for conflict prevention and settlement through increased public participation in the peace process, providing advice to decision-makers on relevant policies, including on secure reintegration and national unity. The initiative is being implemented in partnership with the Committee for Human Rights, De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories in Donetsk, Luhansk Regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the City of Sevastopol, National Minorities and Inter-Ethnic Relations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (the 9th convocation). The National Platform is supported by the project “Building Resilience to Conflict through Dialogue” which is funded by the European Union.

This conference of the National Dialogue discussed “The Law on Transitional Period as a step towards Secure Reintegration?”. Professor Mallinder appeared on a panel with Oleksii Reznikov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine and Yuna Potemkina, Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
