Description

Chair, NCRI Breast Research Group Early Disease Subgroup. This group is responsible for the development of clinical studies in breast cancer, and provides input, expertise and advice on the development of studies from conception through to funding award. As chair, I led subgroup input into the development of several studies now funded by the NIHR, which will be practice-changing studies for the treatment of breast cancer. I also led on the establishment of a working group to develop the standardisation of measurement of a key breast cancer biomarker (Ki67) across the UK.
