The National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) is a UK-wide partnership of cancer research funders, established in 2001. Its member organisations work together to improve health and quality of life by accelerating progress in the cancer-related research, through collaboration. The annual cancer conference brings together a wide range of disciplines to present and discuss the latest research results. At this conference I was awarded the Royal College of Pathologists Poster Prize for my work on predictive biomarkers in oesophageal cancer.
