Invited guest speaker to the Association for Perioperative Practice Roadshow in Belfast.

Detail: This session is primarily aimed at perioperative practitioners working with children in adult-based operating rooms. There is an opportunity for paediatric perioperative practitioners to update their knowledge of current practice. We will cover family-centred care, consent, fasting, allaying anxiety, etc. Session learning outcomes: · Understand a selection of complexities surrounding Children and Young People (CYP) patients when attending our theatre department, · Update knowledge on current evidence-based practice, · Provide tools to enhance our CYP patients’ safety and experience within practice.
