Parental Participation: Understanding the Impact of Trauma

I chair the NI Inter-Agency Childcare and Legal Issues Group which hosted this webinar on the topic of ‘Parental Participation: Understanding the Impact of Trauma’. The webinar addressed the impact of trauma on parents who are involved with child welfare services and court proceedings, and offered insights from psychology, social work and legal perspectives to help identify trauma-informed strategies to promote good practice in social work, legal and court practice.
