I am a peer mentor to one colleague from a Russell Group HEI in England who is a Lecturer hoping to progress to Senior Lecturer in the next year. I am also a critical friend to another HUBS member who is applying to the post of Professor Education at another Russell Group HEI in England. The impact of these activities in that it allows me to understand the intricacies of the academic progression that I can use when mentoring colleagues in QUB and to enhance my own career progression.
