Description

From Glenn Miller to Kraftwerk - not to mention Mousse T and even The Chainsmokers - changes in the way we communicate have long been a useful source of musical material. The sharing economy (so far, on course to be for the 2010s what web 2.0 was for the 2000s - in both good and bad ways), it seems, may prove similarly inspirational. Inspired by the 2016-17 releases of provocative insights into the disruptive impact of ride-sharing platforms on life, love, and established business models by Tom Zanetti and Not3s, this presentation explores how the way that we talk and sing about new ideas can inform the debate on how we begin to understand and even regulate them.
