Personality in Urban Futures

Activity: Other activity typesHosting a school group or open day

Description

This event, hosted by the centre for Stress, Trauma, and Related Conditions (STARC) in collaboration with Queen’s Communities and Place (QCAP), will bring together personality and careers within an urban futures society, in reference to the £35 million project to make Belfast a smart city (https://smartbelfast.city/). Key Stage 4 students will be invited from secondary schools within the new 'Smart Belfast' district to participate in a workshop where they will learn about 'Smart Belfast', their own personality (by taking and scoring a personality survey), and which urban futures careers are most suited to their personality type. We will also have researchers and community leaders discuss personality and life outcomes, human-technology interaction, and what Smart Belfast means for young people in the area.
