The event featured a presentation of the report's main findings by Adele Bergin (ESRI) and Seamus McGuinness (ESRI), a response by David Jordan (Queen’s University Belfast), and a presentation by Bart van Ark (The Productivity Institute).

This was followed by a panel discussion, which welcomed questions from the in-person audience, and was Chaired by Julie McCandless (Queen’s University Belfast).
