Description
This event, co-hosted by Queen's Management School and the Economic & Social Research Institute, discussed a recent ESRI/Shared Island report, ‘Modelling productivity levels in Ireland and Northern Ireland’.This interactive event brought together stakeholders from the two jurisdictions to discuss the report’s findings and the wider importance of productivity.
The event featured a presentation of the report's main findings by Adele Bergin (ESRI) and Seamus McGuinness (ESRI), a response by David Jordan (Queen’s University Belfast), and a presentation by Bart van Ark (The Productivity Institute).
This was followed by a panel discussion, which welcomed questions from the in-person audience, and was Chaired by Julie McCandless (Queen’s University Belfast).
