Initiated the implementation of US and also diversifying the curriculum. The use of ultrasound has been introduced into the curriculum to give the students the opportunity to not only review anatomy but also to introduce them to ultrasound scanning. This is an exciting development within the curriculum. All students in the year have attended a dedicated practical session on cardiac ultrasound. During the session they examined a Simulated Patient using a Butterfly iQ3 ultrasound probe.
