September 2007-2009 Project Leader, Advisor to Committee of the Regions on European Union External Affairs and European Neighbourhood Policy, Ref.: CDR/ETU/4/2007. The Centre for European Politics and the Institute for European Studies at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel were selected by the Committee of the Regions of the European Union to serve as consultants on external affairs and European Neighbourhood Policy. This was an EU-wide open competition. The consultancy contract was renewed on an annual basis during 2007-2009.
