A new series of talks marking a decade of anniversaries will commence later this month as part of Mid Ulster District Council’s programme of commemorative events. The programme, entitled ‘Remembering the Future’ consists of six talks being delivered across the district culminating in a final panel debate. ‘The second talk, ‘Commemorating The Decade of Centenaries Challenges and Opportunities’ will take place on Tuesday, April 4 at 7.30pm at Ranfurly House, Dungannon. The lecture will be delivered by Fearghal McGarry. Speaking about the series of talks, Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Trevor Wilson, said: “This latest series of informative talks will enlighten and engage all communities.
