QUB Cardiac Research Group Annual Heart Health Conference - 2023: Bringing Patients, Carers, and Professionals together to Improve Outcomes.

Description

I secured funding from the HSC PHA Research Workshop & Conference Support Programme to facilitate the organisation and delivery of a cardiac research dissemination event for patients, public, academics, and healthcare professionals. I also chaired this event. 

The aims of the conference were:
•Raise awareness of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment.•Equip patients, carers, and professionals with knowledge of the latest cardiac research conducted at QUB. •Highlight the importance of patient and public involvement input in maximising research quality and integrity.•Provide an effective networking opportunity for delegates.
