Climate change is one of the defining issues of our time, and we are currently at a critical juncture. The consequences are already being felt, for example, in the form of a rise in extreme weather events. As this session will explore, the evidence clearly indicates that businesses have - and continue to be - a major contributor to climate change. However, they can also provide leadership in terms of addressing it. As a result, there are strong ethical and pragmatic arguments for why the issue must be high on the agenda for organisations of all sizes.
