QUB-USC Gerontology Summer School

Description

The School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work hosted 13 students from the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, University of Southern California at a two day workshop. Students learned about research on ageing at QUB including lectures on Age in the culture wars, the NICOLA study, Virtual Reality and Parkinson's Disease and interventions to reduce polypharmacy amongst older people in Northern Ireland. Another cohort of students will visit in July 2024.
