Description
Dissemination Event for Reciprocal Reading Secondary for struggling readers in KS3.Improving reading outcomes is recognised as a global endeavour, including in England where particular focus is given to reading in schools owing to the additional burden of the Covid19 pandemic on student learning.
The present study used a randomised controlled trial methodology and process evaluation to establish whether a reciprocal reading targeted instruction programme for secondary age students (Reciprocal Reading Secondary) can be delivered at greater scale than previously tested in England, and can result in improved reading ability for Year 7 students.
