Description

I participated as a staff mentor in the Race Equality Charter (REC) Reverse Mentoring Programme, contributing my insights and experiences through a one-to-one mentoring relationship. The programme offers senior staff an important opportunity to learn from, and develop a deeper understanding of, the barriers and workplace experiences faced by Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic colleagues. Aligned with this year’s Race Equality Week theme, #ChangeNeedsAllOfUs, the mentoring programme forms part of the wider work taking place across the University to advance race equality and encourage meaningful engagement from staff.
