PURPOSE The purpose of the workstream is to improve the support and care of people living with dementia in Northern Ireland through a regional approach to inclusive and available education and training in dementia.
OBJECTIVES The objectives of the Dementia education and training workstream is to: 1. develop an evidence informed regional dementia education and training framework and strategy adopted regionally 2. advocate for innovative and inclusive approaches to dementia education and training for all sectors that is up to date and mandatory 3. investigate mechanisms to embed the different levels of dementia education and training required across sectors.
