Description
Queen's Religious Studies Research Forum event featuring Prof Mathew Guest (Durham) and Prof Gladys Ganiel (QUB). The seminar explains how patterns and changes in the UK Higher Education sector have impacted on how religion is handled as a campus phenomenon in Britain. It also draws on research conducted among students in universities in Britain; and among students associated with the Catholic, Presbyterian, and Church of Ireland/Methodist chaplaincies and the Christian Union at Queen’s University. This research provides perspectives on the experiences, beliefs, and practices of students of faith, exploring how religion impacts on their university experiences.
