Description

This is a talk aimed at a group of 40 French Students visiting QUB's centre for creative writing, hosted by Dr Garrett Carr. The talk will consider evolutions of representations of Belfast from the 1947's Carol Reed Film Noir Odd Man Out (an adaptation from Frederick Laurence Green eponymous 1945 novel) to Eoin McNamee novels (Resurrection Man, Orchid Blue) and film adaptation, as well as recent TV series such as The Fall.
