Moy Park Chicken invited a key customer, Sainsbury's to the School of Biological Sciences to meet some of the researchers they collaborate with on innovation projects. Professor Greg Keeffe and I co-presented a showcase of our best applied research-by-design projects. These projects ranged from designing the future net-zero, higher-welfare poultry house, to imagining a circular supermarket, designing a food-producing facade and building a vertical farm system.
