This activity involved second supervision of a funded Research Summer Studentship focused on the co-design and development of digital and multimedia resources to enhance awareness and understanding of interprofessional simulation-based learning (IP SBL) within the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the wider Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences. Working alongside the lead supervisors (Lorna Lawther and Alison Smart) and the Director of Intersim, Dr Matt Birch contributed to mentoring the student in the design and production of digital resources, including video, podcast, photographic, and blog-based materials.

The studentship supported needs analysis, co-production with students and professional simulation leads, and evaluation of the educational and reputational value of the resources. The activity strengthened research-informed educational development, supported interprofessional learning, and aligned with institutional priorities around simulation, digital innovation, and collaborative practice.
