Helped to increase my understanding and awareness of issues affecting students' day to day. I took actions to address racial inequities and understand the barriers facing international students. I added a statement in the application for mentorship " Please indicate if you prefer your Reverse Mentor to be from the minority Ethnic Group". Some students ticked this box and their wish was fulfilled
