Description

The 2024 RSS Conference is a key event for the statistics and data science community, bringing together over 600 attendees from around 30 countries and various sectors. The conference provided a valuable platform for professionals, researchers, and students to share knowledge and learn about the latest developments in the field.

Held at the Brighton Metropole in East Sussex, the conference featured keynote speeches from renowned figures such as Hadley Wickham, Tim Harford, Karla Diaz-Ordaz, Erica Thompson, Nial Friel, and David Borchers. The programme also included a wide range of workshops, talks, poster presentations, and numerous networking opportunities.

As part of the event, I delivered a presentation in a contributed session titled Capturing Fleeting Moments, which was an exciting opportunity to showcase my work and engage with fellow attendees.
